Every hue was pulled from the same world as the tribute itself, a Lakers rooted purple, five championship rings in gold and the electric static of a television that refuses to fully turn off.
Every frame is lit the way an arena is lit after dark, hard rim light from neon signage standing in for court lights, a single warm key catching the gold hardware, and just enough ambient purple to keep the shadows alive instead of empty.
Wet asphalt does double duty, grounding the shoe on a real street while throwing back a second, blurred copy of every sign overhead. It reads as glossy, saturated and a little theatrical on purpose, closer to a film still than a catalog shot.
